Frequently asked questions
Do I need to install anything?
No. EDFS Matrix runs right in Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari. If you like, you can install it as an app from the browser menu. It gets its own icon and window, with no setup file, and updates arrive automatically.
Do I need an internet connection?
Yes. An internet connection is needed to sign in, check your Premium status, and open and save your work. An ordinary connection is enough.
Can it exchange data with other software?
Yes. Models can be imported and exported as .s2k and .std text files, so they can move to other analysis programs that read those formats. Result tables can be exported to a spreadsheet (.xlsx), and reports can be saved as PDF to attach to project documents.
Which analyses are available?
3D frame analysis: linear static, modal, P-Delta, response spectrum and the direct analysis method.
Can I try it for free?
Yes. Every new account gets 7 days of Premium for free once the email is confirmed, no credit card needed. After the trial ends your account stays, and you can buy Premium at any time.
Does one subscription cover the other apps?
Yes. Edifisia Premium unlocks every Edifisia app with one account, except EDFS Library which is sold separately. Pay once for the duration you choose, with no auto-renew. When it expires, your account and your work stay saved.
